The ARRL Code Drill allowed me the code experience to get my General ticket back in the incentive licensing days. There have been many amateurs who have upgraded their licenses using the drills from ARRL.

In spite of the current trend to discount code the mode will likely never go away as it is still one of the most efficient mode of communications!
